The Conservation Committee depends upon a group of committed
and hard-working volunteers for the completion of many of
its projects and campaigns. The Committee works on a wide
variety of issues and projects ranging from the protection
of urban habitat to the protection of regional ecosystems
and migratory birds.
Volunteers attend hearings, write and submit official comments,
organize other activists, serve as conservation leaders
and participate in a variety of other activities for the
organization, depending upon their interests and free time.
Our volunteers share a passion for birds and the natural
environment and a commitment to the protection of remaining
ecosystems and habitat. If you are interested in the conservation
of birds and their habitat and would like to join our group
