One third of Washington's birds are currently species of special concern, and Seattle Audubon is working to protect these birds at risk. We work closely with concerned citizens, local decision-makers and like-minded organizations to protect critical habitat for these birds, as well as the numerous other species native to our region. Our Conservation Program - including both staff members and dedicated volunteers - is active in promoting environmentally-sound public policy and private practices that protect habitat for birds and nature.
